Hey Guys, some Christmas money rolled in and I think it might be a good idea to upgrade my RAM. It's been feeling a little low for a while, especially for a web developer. My budget is around £130. My PC specs are below:

Win 7
Core i7 D0 @ 4GHZ,
GA-X58A-UD3R,
Patriot Viper 1600MHZ 3*2GB <-- Not good enough
XFX ATI HD 5870,
Radeon HD 7970
2x SSD

What would you guys recommend? I am looking for 16GB.

Kind regards,

Fab

YOUR BASKET
2 x TeamGroup Xtreem LV "Frost Edition" 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-19200C10 2400MHz Dual Channel Kit £59.99 (£119.98)
Total : £128.68 (includes shipping : £7.25).

It's faster than what your mobo officially supports (around 2100MHz), but you can use it "down-clocked" if necessary, and never know - you may have a good overclocking CPU and mobo on your hands. And if you insert the modules as the "3 Channels - Four Modules" row in the image below recommends, you'll still make use of Triple Channel (for whatever it's worth... don't think it makes much difference).

Looks great thanks, I have gone for it :)

Wish I had a few months back when it was half the price. heh. Ah well.
