Right, I'm going to go pick up a Phenom 965 and a Asus Evo tomorrow, only thing I can't decide on is RAM.

So which do I choose?

I'm not as clued up on such things like timings so I'm kinda stumped here. :/

Just noticed, product description for the mobo says 1333mhz yet the info says this: - Memory: 4x DDR3 DIMM 1800(OC) / 1600 / 1333 / 1066 MHz (Max. 16GB) - so do I get 1600 or 1333?!

Just a thought, if the RAM is that speed, then will it drop down to match the highest speed my mobo can run at?

It should be able to run anything from 1066mhz to 2133mhz.

The Ram can run at at anything between 1066 to 2133mhz.

Your mobo supports a max of 1800.

In that case, you can run the ram at a max of 1800. Meaning the mobo will be the limiting factor, not the ram.

You can run the ram at higher speeds without overclocking your cpu afaik.

Usually people tend to buy faster ram to overclock though, not to run it at stock speed.

Maybe a decent heatsink if you plan to o/c.
