spec me some ram!

Hi guys,

It would seem my XMS3 1600mhz and 1333mhz kits are not compatible and don't like working even at the lower speed.

So im after an 8gb kit please. Spec of my rig are in my signature.

without knowing budget, i would suggest the XMS3 at 1600Mhz because it has always run fine on my Athlon II and Phenom II based rigs

but if your looking for more on a smaller budget then this should work flawlessly too

I just bought a pair of these... They come with red/green leds or blue/orange leds

They are so good. There are leds on the bottom and the top so you can have one colour constantly glowing at the slot end and then the other doing a choice of patterns.

Or they can be the same colour, upto you, but trust me they are sick

Other thing is they clock very well, mine do 1866 easily, going to try them at 2133 and I wouldn't be surprised if they worked.

I was going to say i think the xms3 stuff is 1.65v not 1.5 like normal stuff so it might have needed more voltings..

Yeah it runs at 1.5v for speeds lower than 1333mhz but for 1600mhz it needs 1.65v
