Spec me some RAM

Im going to be building a new system next week with an Intel 7700k and this mother board.

I want 32gb DDR 4 Quad Channel of about 3000mhz so what would you say the right choice considering i MIGHT over clock the CPU.

I assume you mean you just want 4 sticks in dual channel mode rather than actually quad channel? I don't think Kaby Lake (CPU or motherboards) support memory in quad channel.

You shouldn't worry too much about compatibility as DDR4 has pretty much all been made with Skylake/Kabylake in mind.

Just pick a budget and get the best 32gb set you can get for that.

Doesn't really impact CPU overclocking very much. 2x16GB might be a tad better than 4x8GB for the integrated memory controller on the CPU.
