Ok, basically, looked at the HiFi seperates route and I really don't want to go over £100 by the looks of things, actually have less money to spend than I thought (Mum called in an old debt dammit), basically want to be able to hook them up to my PC one way or another, either via optical or your standard 3.5mm.

Been looking at the Harmon Kardon Soundsticks, are these any good? Or is it just 'fashion' and the sound quality is turd. Not bothered about gaming, this is basically for music. Thought it'd be easier to create a new topic than post in my Hi-Fi seperates one!

Cheers,

soundsticks are amazing I had a set for a yr or 2 before i switched to seperates and I liked them although most people on here would recommend the ageo m 2.1's

I've heard the Soundsticks for a few hours at a mates... very good stuff and it looks cool too.

However, I went with the Aego m 2.1's from OcUK because it was better for my pockets (the Soundsticks were abit out of reach then) I've not regret since. The built quality is solid and the sound that comes out of them tiny monitors are amazing.

Good clear treble, even at high volume. Lovely Mids and warm Bass.

Only thing I didn't like was the Bass coming in 3 settings (Hi, Mid, Lo) and it's located at the back, I've got it at Hi because the type of music I listens has the ummph.

:)
