Right I have around 70 pounds to spend but could go higher, not for gaming just music, my motherboard has 6 audio connections on the back if that helps, its an old asus a8n sli premium :)
I really like the 'bose' sound, whenever I hear some they give this distinctive sound of not being too loud hurting your ears but delivering a nice sound,
I was looking at some companion 5s in HMV but they are waaayy to expensive.
Is there anything with that sort of sound without paying as much?

cheers

hi,
I can stretch my budget to 100 pounds. Regarding the Aego M speakers I have heard them myself and think they are really good, I also listened to some creative T40s the other day and they sounded alright.
I don't mind getting second hand amp and bookshelf speakers as long as the sound is going to be good and they are easy to set up.
on my mobo I have a pink, black, grey, different shade of pink/peach, green and blue connections.
I really don't know what I'm looking at with hifi speakers and amps so please help!

cheers
Collisster

Collister all you need is a stereo integrated amplifier, a pair of bookshelf or standmount speakers, speaker cable, 3.5mm stereo to stereo RCA. You just use the left & right 3.5mm output on your soundcard.

you what what now?
can you show me pictures please?

cheers
