Spec me some tyres...

What car?
You can get ContiSportContact 3s for only £10 a corner more on mytyres, so I'd be going with those.

Check out blackcircles and camskill on the prices though.

^^ camskill, cant fault them at all!

Just running in a set of Falken FK452's at the moment. As a replacement for the very good Goodyear GSD3's I am very impressed with them so far. 300 miles in. Just hoping they last a bit longer than the goodyears did.

There is a whole thread back in the history books about said Falken tyre.

Thats right, make purchasing decisions about one of the most important parts of your car (those 4 little spots of rubber are the only thing holding you to the road) based on the lifetime warranty (totally worthless anyway, a tyre is either repairable for a few quid if/when punctured or not) and some umbrella. Clearly they need gimmicks to sell their tyres as their performance isn't enough to sell themselves.

Is the umbrella for keeping dry while waiting for a recovery truck after skidding into a tree in the wet?

Read the reviews, there not half bad on a budget. I didn't have a clue about the lifetime warranty and umbrella - came back from shop around the corner and these was in the car ready.

Bloke at the place said there are a mid range tyre with a lower price then your normal mid range tyre.

You are right they aren't half bad, it is way more than half bad.

Excellent choice. After all, why buy quality tyres when there are only four A6-sized contact patches with the ground? All that quality rubber is just going to waste!

retarded graph is retarded  cheap tyres in 'don't stop you so quick' shocker...

graph is as retarded as starting a thread on a discussion board and just ploughing on with what you want anyway :)

/edit, for the less observant look at the scale of that graph, and how much data has been 'lost' to emphasise a tiny point.

Went with the Maxxis in the end. Had them fitted earlier on and so far there are way better then the mis match Wanli & Kumho that came off.

LOL I could just imagine Fox's head exploding after reading that.

I'm willing to bet even the "mid range tyres are as good as premium tyres" brigade will even agree this is a massive fail on the OPs side.

the graph is definately not the best, it is comparing the cheapy tyres to a mid range conti eco-somethingorother
