Spec me some tyres :)

As per the title really, obviously I am not after any ditch finders

I do need a long lasting tyre though as I am doing around 30,000 miles PA, this is 90% motorway driving, and seeing as the car is a 2005 Mondeo 2.0TDCI it's more about MPG than MPH!!!

Currently has a set of CS3 on there which are just about on the wear markers but for the life of me I cant remember what mileage they were put on at

I see that CS3's are around £145 a corner and not really wanting to spend more than that....

So what's everyone's thoughts?

I've just put a pair of Cooper xeons on the front and they seem decent. They are well priced too.

In the past i've used Kumho Ecstas. Again, seem decent and well priced. I would buy them again.

Not top brands, but not ditchfinders either.

Off the top of my head, isn't the Mondeo something like 205/50/16?

£118 for the 89V SC3 fitted. Minus £20 for 4 getting all at once from event tyres
