what are you using that rig for? gaming or multi media/tasking?

sorry, just saw the answer to that lol. If you game why dont you drop the quad and get the E8500? for a higher clock speed? and get some 1066mhz crucial ballistix memory? About 2 gigs worth only around £35 now.
 
well, i've always, and i mean always, been told to avoid quad core if i intend to play games, and that it's more viable to go for a faster core clock speed. Everyone though can benefit from more/faster memory and the crucial ballistix ddr2 1066mhz stuff on overclockers is excellent kit, i had 4GB of that stuff not long back and it was very good stuff.
 
Ah good stuff. Ill need 64bit then too though?

Is my mobo in need of changing or will it suffice a new GFX, CPU and RAM boost?
