Hi, I've just finished my first build, everything seems to be going well (fingers crossed!) but my motherboard (Asus p9p67-m) does not have any wifi capability.

Due to my home network setup, the router is on the ground floor so whilst wired would be preferable for gaming, its not possible. What is the best way to connect my computer to the wireless network?

I'd seriously consider a homeplug "ethernet over powerline" option. For a fixed location desktop it will be faster and more reliable than wifi.

That's not true, power line can be just as tricky to get right as WiFi, it's all dependant on your electrical wiring.

really depends on your house and how good/old your wiring is. My last house i used "ethernet of powerline" which worked great for my media pc under the tv, much better than the netgear pre-N wireless network i had there.

Ah damn! Went to the local computer parts shop, picked up a Cisco Wireless adaptor, get home all excited to finally play some multiplayer. No. Like the bumbling buffoon I am, I misread the box and picked up a PCI card, not a PCI express card. I hope they will accept a return, my PCI slot is covered by my GFX :(
