So pretty much all i do is game, mainly CS, but also PUGB and Overwatch.

Are the any disadvantages to going wireless?

Budget is about £100-£200

You can bet your pants that makers won't add wireless for free, but take good extra for that.:p
Meaning less budget for/sound quality lower per price compared to normal headphones with cheap wire and no need for extra electronics in form of transmitter and receiver.
So unless actually needing them to be wireless it's better to stay with wireless.

And in gaming branded Chinese junks already that starting level is bad.

Roller coaster's loop wouldn't look out of place in those frequency response curves...

Also those typically use some proprietary and likely glued in LiIon battery so have break up timer.

So if you really want wireless headphones I would look at Sennheiser RS-models.
Those use standard AAA NiMHs so you can easily change aged/worn batteries and keep them going.
Also Sennheiser RSes would accept normal AAA alkalines as "emergency power", though you should remember to not put them into charging dock then.
Obviously wired headphones won't run out of battery.
