ok, bit of a strange one. Basically, I have a wall mounted samsung 55" tv, under which i used to have a typical media bench set up which concealed a couple of wall plugs.
However, i've now replaced the media bench with a vertical shelving unit which tucks beautifully into the corner of my lounge and houses all my media devices.
The aforementioned plugs are covered with a white desk top which fits perfectly under the tv and blends nicely in with the white wall. Obviously not a perfect solution, but genuinely isn't distracting at all and fits like a glove...and of course does the job of hiding wires/plugs!
HOWEVER
I've now decided i quite fancy a half decent soundbar. I don't want to wall mount it. So, I need to be able to place it on some sort of sturdy, height adjustable pedestal (i guess) so that i can bring it up to the level of the plug sockets below the TV and hopefully cover them. Does this make sense?
Any thoughts?
