Spec me something to do in London please.

Going to London next weekend and going to have some free time on Fri between 2pm and 5pm, have to be in Hammersmith at 6pm (going to the Apollo).
Our lass was keen to do a Thames river cruise or maybe visit Buckingham Palace but I don't think we've got time for the cruise and according to their website the Queens house is only open Aug/Sept.

Couple of hours in the Natural History Museum or Science Museum down the road in Kensington?

Been to the Natural History Museum before, some of the dinosaur exhibits were pretty cool. Had the science museum suggested elsewhere too may check that out

I headed to London with a mate last year sometime as he needed to go to some special dentist place or something like that and we figured we could make a day of it.

Ok that sounds well ghay. But anyway....

He started freaking out about half way through the afternoon (weekday) and had seemingly decided he needed to go hook up with a hooker ASAP. So he jumped in a cab and just boosted off. Came back about 60 minutes later happy as larry. Random much!?

Last time I went with the girlfriend we went on the London eye (champagne experience) and then the Aquarium. Both were good

Yeah they are, but depending on the ticket you purchase you can get priority boarding, this is what we did and after seeing the queue on the day I was very glad I did.

Been on the London Eye before it was good but agree the queues are a pain. Staying in London till Sunday lunch time. I have a place in the Olympic park run ending in the Olympic stadium so that is the reason for the trip and takes up much of Saturday. Going to Marco Pierre Whites on Sat night (Groupon deal since Chelsea are playing away). Def won't be paying any ladies who advertise in phone boxes lol. QUite like the suggestion of l'ambience and food although I was thinking of Notting Hill as apparently there's a market and our lass can indulge in some shopping, not sure exactly where Notting Hill is though
