@Diddums - If staying in London, I wouldn't mind trying out the Science Museum, Madame Tussauds, Harrod's as not been to any of those for 10+ years, plus a British / local pub, all are indoors. I like the local accents in the pubs, although not everyone's cuppa tea I know.
If these are too trivial (as you're in London anyway), then maybe a city break in Bristol? Places to eat / drink / stay on the seafront with a big pier for night time entertainment, bars / restaurants.
It was a very heavily overused joke when replying to 'spec me a holiday' threads for a while and the mods got bored of it. I'm right about the weather, both my girls' schools are closed this morning. We don't generally get snow where I am, but this morning is certainly thick enough to make travel fun. Merseyrail cancelled until after 9 and the M53 traffic on google maps at 7am is looking very red.
