Spec me somewhere warm for November

Trying to use up the remaining annual leave and have a week off at the beginning of November. Not sure we can be bothered with long haul or anywhere terribly expensive — but a bit of sunshine and warmth would be nice.

Any suggestions? Rhodes? Marrakech? Other Greek islands? Looking for something relaxing, we were in Sicily a few weeks ago which although warm and lovely was a little hectic.

Agadir? Not much to do there and it should be about 25°C in November.
Just been for a week, had quite a lot of haze and high humidty - not hard to deal with heat but like hard to dry towels and stuff. It was quite nice with a decent amount to do if you seek it out. We had 25 - 30 every day and were able to do something in the morning then sit about the pool in the afternoon so was a pleasant break. It was quiet enough and relaxing but expect the typical crap sellers everywhere touristy, were easy enough to say no to and friendly enough overall. Somewhere like Cyprus might be warmer though.

Yeah this massively puts me off places like that unfortunately. Looks like the other half has added a new requirement - direct flights from LHR :p

Debating Athens, or maybe Valencia or even Porto or Lisbon. Been to both the latter but had a fun time..

I know its a stereotype but it definitely is true. We didn't find most to be pushy and a head shake, no thanks or hand wave was enough. But yeah you can't walk up the promenade and be left alone.

I love Portugal.

Would live there if I didn't have to work.

I'd have thought Valencia would be a bit cooler than Greek islands, it's around mid 20's here now, but would expect it to be around low 20's in November. Unsure if that's still warm enough.

I seem to have hit the point that feels cold :p

Currently on Fuerteventura. 27deg in daytime, cools down nicely in the evenings. Pretty dead until 8pm, when suddenly the place seems to wake up. We rented a car today and drove to some absolutely epic areas. We're in an all inclusive too which is nice, just make sure you have a fake neck tattoo sticker and fake lashes.

We wanted a relaxing one and that's exactly what we got, with some mild nightlife to enjoy should we feel like it.

We're off to the Canaries again in November. Playa Blanca, Lanzarote isn't as busy as other places, felt pretty chilled out last time and the weather is great

Canary Islands? I was there in January a few years back, average of 25.C every day for the week we were there.

Yes the Canary Islands for out of season warmth, open all year round with relatively short flights. Pick the island and resort that takes your fancy. Some consider the winter months to be their high season as a lot of retired Scandinavians go there for a long holiday to escape the cold.

Been looking at the Canary Islands but not sure you can fly direct from LHR unless I was getting confused. Currently been out off of Athens and looking at Valencia. We like food and a bit of culture..

Perhaps Athens is a better pit stop on the way to an island in the summer.

BA fly to Tenerife from LHR on Fridays and Saturdays. It's prohibitively expensive compared to flights from other airports though

Cannairies, south Spain (Almeria or Murcia province?) or south Portugal?

Im sure Valancia would be ok too but it's quite a it further north, so weather might be a bit more variable.

Morocco maybe? dunno what it's like, never been.

Canary Islands have gradually got worse and worse over the years. Cyprus is around 22c at the start of November but chilly nights 10c

Valletta Malta or Sicily Italy maybe

I would also say Malta if you have never been.

Looking at last Novembers weather it fits the weather requirement (no surprise as was boiling hot when I went in September), direct flights from LHR and perfect for exploring.
