Spec me sound card please

Hi there,

I'm looking for something to improve gaming and music sound quality. I have a 2:1 system at the moment. What would you suggest?

How are we meant to know what will improve things without knowing what you've already got or how much you want to spend?

I have onboard sound, and well I will be getting the card second hand so I don't wanna spend more than £35 really.
