Spec me this coin!

Just been digging up the garden and stumbled across this;

Difficult to make out the markings and you can only read one side of the coin.

Looks like Edward VII so just over 100 years old.

Without knowing the size at least I don't think you can tell the denomination from the front. Looks silver from the picture so something like a shilling or florin possibly?
