Spec me up a Gaming PC

The time for Christmas is nearly upon us and I will treat myself with a Gaming PC this year, so spec me up guys, something really cool that will handle all the crap out there, if you know what I mean. :rolleyes:

My budget is £800; this does not include monitor, keyboard or mice, just a base unit.

was made a few days ago so u can change the 5850 to a slightly cheaper one like the spec above

also above spec u cant have tri-channel with that board :S ?

What about this:

The ram is a cas8 instead of cas9. And you have a 1tb hard disk instead of 500gb. but if you want to reduce the price further just go for the 500gb one.

yeh basically same as mine but the cas8 ram is the better choice , this is the kinda spec u need to go for OP

None of these specs have included an aftermarket cooler :confused:

about to ask the same thing, if the budget was that tight are you forced to use retail cooler?

There are few more threads like this for i5, I had thought for like 3 seconds intel had got their act together and supplied a good heat sink fan combo. (not bought hardware for two years here)
