You're going to need DDR2 with that Core 2 Duo, not the DDR you have listed.

Everything else is good, although :

- I would consider ATI X1800XT & Nvidia 7900GS Video Cards Also (Not to say you should go for one of these instead but consider them anyway)

- You might choose a less horrendously ugly case, even if it's a cheap one.

-I've got that PSU & it not only works well but looks great too. However, for about £10 more you could get a slightly higher efficiency PSU, saving a bit of electricity bills (7900GS would also be good for this vs the ATI cards)

Anyway, good luck, a solid spec there.

What 'Quixote' said really. That board only takes DDR2 RAM. Though there's a ASRock board that can take both (i.e. DDR & DDR2). He also needs 2GB RAM especially for intended use ;)

Something like this will cover all areas especially gaming...
  • Intel Core 2 DUO E6300 "LGA775 Allendale" 1.86GHz (1066FSB) - Retail (CP-126-IN) £114.99
  • GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC5300 667MHz Value DDR2 Dual Channel Kit (GX22GB5300DC) (MY-034-GL) £139.99
  • Connect3D ATI Radeon X1800 XT 256MB GDDR3 AVIVO TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail (GX-044-CO) £114.99

  • Intel DP965LT 965 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard - Retail (MB-011-IN) £69.99
  • Antec NSK4400 Mini Tower Case - 380W SmartPower PSU (CA-052-AN) £43.99
