I know absolutely nothing about small form PCs but am interested in building a small and quiet machine for audio editing. Therefore I'd really appreciate some advice and spec suggestions with the following criteria:
• Quiet as possible
• Powerful CPU, quad preferred
• 8gb Ram preferred, but could start at 4gb
• No GPU, onboard gfx only
• No audio / sound card as I'll be using an external DAC via USB.
• OS not required
Budget under £500 if possible, preferably much less.
