Around £700 pounds to play with, with around +- £200 either way.

For CPU, Mobo, memory and graphics card.

Pci-e and ddr2 preferred. Best valued spec for price preferred.

Thanks lads :)

I'd probably go for something like this. Sorry I don't have time to sort out the horrible formatting the new website gives here.

Dunno about RAM and Mobo but I'd definitely get these

Intel Core 2 DUO E6600 "LGA775 Conroe" 2.40GHz (1066FSB) - Retail (CP-128-IN) --- £229.11

Connect3D ATI Radeon X1900 XT 256MB GDDR3 AVIVO TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail (GX-053-CO) Connect3D ATI Radeon X1900 XT 256MB GDDR3 AVIVO TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail (GX-053-CO) --- 170.36

Total Inc VAT and Postage : £409.17

Which leaves you £300 to play with for mobo and RAM.

Looks good, thanks matey :)

Can I just get confirmation on the compatability between cpu, mobo and memory by someone please?

cheers :D

Ya CPU and Mobo are 100% compatible. The ram should work fine as all the Geil's are working well with the DS3/DS4. I know CPU and Mobo will work 100% and the DS4 will get that CPU overclocking very nicely.
The ram i am 90% sure it will work, i just remember something about Voltage problems with some DDR2 Modules but im sure the geils were fine.
Other than that, you have yourself a lovely build.

Some of the GSkill(apart from the HZ series and maybe even higher up the range) refused to work properly with Gigabyte motherboards although I believe they were fine with everything else so that could be what you were thinking of. :)
