Im building a computer for my bro, his budget is about £500. He wants to be able to do his work and play a few games (possibly not the most graphicaly demanding games). Exlude monitor. It is to include a DVD-R/CD-RW combo drive. Preferably an intel system. Thanks.

Will he be using it for multitasking?
As your using it for work and low graphics games it may be better to go for a Intel dual core.

2 Gig memory is overkill for that system unless hes working with photo/video editing. Certainly the graphics card aint capalibe of running games high ebough to use 2 Gig

That's the spec I'd go for if't were me bying it. That vid card is more than enough for non-gamers. Being a non-gamer myself I find that having 2 GiB memory makes the machine far more responsive when I've got a lot going on at once.
