As title, I need an upgrade for my Dads PC.

He does various tasks including video and photo editing (although nothing particuarly hardcore). He also enjoys playing racing games with his G27 wheel, but has already got a 9800GT which still seems to cope fairly well at his 1680x1050 resolution.

The build should include the following;

Mainboard, CPU, memory and SSD.

I Was thinking something along the lines of this,

Is this any good? What would you change?

Thanks in advance for your replies :)

Is the 3570K really worth spending the extra on? The 3450 uses Intels 'Turbo Boost technology' which ups it to 3.5GHz when needed.

Bear in mind I want this to be a rock solid system and therefore will not be overclocking it. He's not what you would call a power user! :p

I only included the third party CPU heatsink and fan to keep noise to a minimum.

If you think the 3450 suits his needs then fair enough. I specced the 3570k because for an extra £30 is a better long term investment, aswell as the benefit of LucidLogic MVP for his graphics.
