Can somebody have a quick look at it for me and let me know if everything looks good? I.e. I won't run into any problems?

I'm hoping to remove the stock case fans from the top as I'll be using the Corsair H100 there and attach them to the front of the case. Gonna swap out the stock fans on the H100 for the quieter Noctua ones.

I'm gonna use Asus' SSD caching. The RAM is listed on Asus' Qualified Vendor List and is quad-channel so I'm thinking I won't have any trouble. I downgraded myself to 4x4gb because I can't afford 4x8gb. I'll upgrade in time.

Only thing I'm worried about is the mobo not booting and having to do the old BIOS flashback trick. Anyone have any issues with this? Is it tricky to fix?

Cheers!

Anyone see any issues or problems I might run into with this spec?

I'm ready to buy now and was hoping one of the gurus could double-check that I haven't made any rookie mistakes! :D

Cheers for all the massive help everyone!

BUILD COMPLETE!!

I DID IT!! Built my first ever PC! So proud! Thanks for all the solid advice guys!!

My final spec didn't vary from the above, except I didn't go with ASUS' SSD caching in the end. Got two SSDs. One 120gb that holds Windows and all of my apps (still a good deal of space to go!) and one 60gb SSD for Adobe's Global Caching. I've listed the final spec here: http://alantravers.com/index.php/2012/06/16/831/

Runs like a dream! Only a couple of things bothering me. The front fan on the Corsair H100 (regardless of whether it's the Noctua silent fans or the H100 stock fans) makes a "whirring" noise that none of the others do. Trust me, I've tried each and every fan and it's always this one that makes the noise. Not a big issue as it's near to silent at the mo, but it'd be ABSOLUTELY silent if it wasn't making that noise. It stops for a couple of seconds from time to time randomly (varying tasks). Any ideas??

Second thing are the chasis fans. I connected them up to the mobo and they were spinning really slow. I mean that 600 was the MAX they'd spin. They'd average at 400 normally. I connected one up directly to the PSU now and I'm gonna do the same with the others when I buy a fan to molex adapter. Any ideas what's going on here? Is there any way I can monitor their speeds when they're connected straight to the PSU?

My CPU temp (according to the BIOS and AI Suite II) is averaging around 31-33 degrees most of the time, occasionally going as high as 39 degrees. Hasn't ever gone over 40 degrees. Is this a good temp for the CPU? It's an i7 3820. The mobo is stable at 28.

I didn't get the card reader in the end. Literally seconds before I bought, I realised that the mobo's USB 3.0 headers would be taken up by the case's front USB 3.0 ports. I'd still love to get it. Does anyone know anywhere I could pick up an internal to external USB 3.0 adaptor? It'd have to be a fairly long one as the distance from the front to plug into the back of the case is pretty big!
