Hey guys,

Ok so im a TOTAL 100% noob in all things photo/video editing! However I don't require a lot of advanced features and tools just a few basic things so hopefully there is something out there that fits nicely.

So iv recently began recording footage from ArmA2 of the missions my unit plays. I do NOT want to heavily edit the footage to show 100% awesome all the time. I am recording and displaying raw gameplay mistakes included! However I would like to do some basic stuff so my requirements are:

To be able to combine multiple video files recorded by FRAPs (presumably a given with any software)

To be able to cut sections out (nobody wants to watch a 4km hike!)

To be able to add plain "information" slides to give some context to the viewer.

Possibility to add voice overs to sections (not essential)

Finally to be able to make use of my i7 920 when rendering.

oh and lets not forget to be fairly noob friendly.

Right now for the short term I need something preferably free or with a few weeks worth of trial. But later down the line If I feel I want to do more im happy to shell out money.

Thanks for your time

~Jack~

Edit: I'm running windows!
