Evening Folks,

Looking to do my first ever Watercooling (yay go me) shortly and need some help on all required parts! I will be cooling an i7 & dual 670s or 680s (still debating, but if it's the 670 it will be the Windforce so can take 680 blocks, if its 680 I will get OcUK Tech ones as cautious of warranty).

Ideally I would like a bay res; maybe a pump/res combo (XSPC?) - but I am completely new to this area so need advice on everything.

Will be in a Corsair 800D so should have PLENTY of room for Rad etc...

Much Love :)

What sort of budget are you looking at?

Also, I'd personally recommend getting a D5 over the bay res combos if within your budget as I found the bay res combos to be too noisy

Silent is better; just concerned about mounting something and how "secure" it is, esp over a fixed bay drive?

As for budget... is £300-£400 reasonable? Honestly I'd rather quality especially considering I am pumping liquid through a machine!

Mounting a pump out of a drive bay is perfectly secure, just do it with care :)

Which rad size(s) are you looking to include in your case?

£400 is workable...

Whatever is suitable, I imagine cooling 2GPU's and a CPU a 360 minimum? The case is huge and 360 is easily mountable at the top without intruding on the mobo.

Only thing you really need to worry about is having your res before the pump. Everything else is a matter of convienience.

This. Once the temps stabilize the coolest component will be that immediately after the radiator. I suggest that you have a look at mine as our builds aren't too dissimilar....

I split mine into 2 loops, and realized a drop of 5C on the GPU's when all was idle. Flow rate didn't appear affected for the D5's.

I have an i7 950, and 2x GTX 480's in 2 loops:

CPU:=> res->Phobya 3.120->CPU->1.120->Res
GPU:=> Res->Swiftech 2.120->GPU1->GPU2->Swiftech 2.120->Res

I think I might be being slow here, so bare with me, but I don't think that will work. Could you add some arrows to that please?
