Hmm, no replies yet. I'll give you a hint as to why.

Water-cooling is an odyssey, an adventure, something of a journey of discovery. You start of wanting to try it, you look at forums where there are water-coolers, you look at the galleries, you come up with your own justification as to why you want it (silence or overclocking or both), you start to think about components, you find shops that sell such things, you join their forums and read a lot.

Eventually, you've kind of decided what you want to do, you've seen what it will cost and you're OK with the budget but you're not sure.

You come here, post the proposed system and we tell you what we think.

If you just ask for a list, how do you know whether it's right for you?

thanks i will keep that in mind, cant wait to try it out though :)

When I first started I bought a high-end CPU kit with a GPU block and a couple of extra barbs for it, otherwise I was confused as to what exactly I needed to order.

Once you've set one up once it become much more familiar, my only mistake first time was using Feser which gunks things up - I use distilled water now.

i just bought some stuff on the bay which included a bottle of feser which i was going to use.thanks for that i'll steer clear now.whats the difference between deionised and distilled water??

I don't think there's a massive difference between distilled and de-ionized water, de-ionized as the name suggests has had ions removed so it takes ions from whatever it touches but I couldn't tell you what the outcome of that is in a watercooling system.

If you go to healthy living websites you can usually pick up distilled water for about £4-5 a litre, it's the most pure water you're going to get.
