Spec me X-Fire

Hi all,
currently got
960T running at 3.5ghz 6 core
650w antec TP power supply
ocuk VTX7950
Asus M4a87td

Thinking about going to x-fire but unsure of what bits/parts to use?

Was thinking of a Sabertooth board and an XFX 850w supply?

Open to suggestions on this if anyone can help me out?

**New board must be able to comfortably fit an Asus DG sound card (pci) and Asus wifi card (pcie xpress) aswell.

I've just swapped to another board that has the PCI slot along way away from the two 16X PCI-E slot

Wouldn't the 960t bottleneck the 7950 Xfire? I think it would.

I have no idea :-/
I roughly priced at £200 for a 7950, 130 for mobo and 100 for PSU,
Would upgrading to 2500k/3570k be a better improvement for me? I run a 120hz screen mainly for racing so want to really maximise what I can

But its not Crossfire and its a 7970 being tested.

I've heard, from someone on these forums that the 3570k affect gtx 680 SLI. It only runs at 80% appearently.

Though I have seen rigs with 7950/7970 xfire with 3570k with no reported issues.

Just sharing what I know.

TBH I have no idea if my 960 bottlenecks 1 7950, I'm just trying to look at the next logical step forwards in upgrading.

It holds a comfortable frame rate on f1 2012 but games like BF3 which I also play it can struggle a little. Dipping to high 30's at times.
