The cheapest DX10 PC you can.

Yep I can do a bit of research and spec myself one, but it's been about 4 years since I built my own rig and I really haven't paid much attention to hardware since. Rather some educated specs than my idea from an afternoon of review reading!!

I don't need a monitor or any peripherals, simply a rig that'll play current gen games (COD 4, Assasins Creed, GTA IV etc..).
Whatever it is it'll be a massive step up from my 9800pro so it's all good.

I thought about it but the rig's specifically for gaming so I reckon gamers are the best people to ask....

Erm, a good mobo abit or asus, a cheap c2d and clock the nuts off it and a 8800 GTS?

Does me fine, my rig manages great through most games, crysis lulling a touch but its still more than confortable (DX9 mode).
