i ahve about £300. now my specs are

E2140 @ 3GHz
P5K-E
x2900GT
akasa zen
17" monitor
tagan 430W U15
320GB HDD (samsung 2x160GB platters)

now i am thinking of spending about £220 on a Yakura/DGM PVA 24" monitor.

now abviously the x2900GT wont keep up, so should i wait a little and get a 4850 (saving up some more money) OR do i upgrade my PSU and game at a lower res. this is becuase i am sure my horrible Vdoorps and random Voltage increaces/decreaces is due to my second hand 3 year old PSU.

Enough reason to warrant a PSU upgrade. The Corsair VX 450W should be enough for a 4850 setup

Yeah get the monitor for now cause it will improve the overasll PC experience but when you get a new GPU then games come into it ^^

ok, i guess 24" gaming will have to wait fro alter, but` alteast i can play at lower res, and have the real estate for normal wed surfing

ill get a cheap PSU to tide me over till i get my new build goign then

(by cheap i mean the vx450W)
