...A lappy for about £300 please (not necessarily new - would consider refurb'd) Might go up to £400 if necessary.

Requirements:

- Decent size and resolution screen
- gaming not really a requirement but some capability would be nice if poss.
- 1GB+ RAM
- Decent Core2Duo Processor
- Integrated Wireless

It'll be mostly used for surfing the net, MSN, Microsoft Office and the like.

Thanks - I did see some of these online and was wondering if they were any good - I've read some reviews that complain about the display on these One thing I hate with Dell is that they try to pile tonnes of crap you don't need on top of the spec, as well as it seeming next to impossible to get the quoted price in their adverts.

Do they do an XP Pro option? Vista home Basic is a bit pants.

Open to any other suggestions, too
