What brand is your current PSU?

This is assuming that you're current PSU sucks.

You dont need paste you get some with the heatsink.
Also just get the retail Q6600 as they all pretty much 3.2GHz easy.
Change the WD Caviar to the Samsung F1 640GB.
Also a modular PSU would be better as you can use only hthe needed cables.
Also personal i would see if there is any information on this cooler: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showp...tpipe CPU Cooler (AM2/AM2+/939/LGA775/LGA1366) as it is based on the Xigmatek HDT-S1283 which is rated highly.

Yeah that noctua cooler will be great at keeping the temps down. I wouldn't bother with the "guaranteed to run at..." save yourself the money and get the standard Q6600, it will overclock just the same. A modular PSU would be better, but they are more expensive.

It looks good.

I agree with the guy above about the Q6600, just get the normal one.
The CPU cooler is very good.
The WD Caviar blue is a very good drive, but the WD Caviar Black 640GB version would be a bit faster and has a 5 year warranty for just £3 more... It's well worth the extra.
I'd agree with Slashiem about a modular PSU - It will improve airflow and keep the case cooler and more tidy.
