A set of Nice 18's to fit my black mk 2 Focus.

Wanting some tyres included aswell but as I'm getting married in 6 weeks don't want to break the bank. I do like silver multi spoke like the new RS, but also nothing way out there that looks chav. As I'm still on the standard 16's im getting a bit fed up of hte look and the mess they are in (as they were when I got the car)

18" wheels on a regular Focus are going to look chav whichever design you choose tbh.

I'd spend the money on some GOOD tyres and a refurb of your current wheels. If you're splashing out on wheels and have a tight budget, you're almost certainly gonna put crap tyres on it and wind up in a ditch.

I like how he is basically guaranteed to crash if he doesnt buy awesome tyres. The ditches are just filled to the brim these days with people on Nankangs or Marshalls :p

Mk2 Focus is quite high sided and blocky and the ST suits bigger wheels so I don't see the chavyness of it.

I'd just find some cheap OEM alternatives myself. Myabe some ST wheels if you can get them.

Interesting answers as always on here, I had thought about not changing simply for the fact of not spending money etc. But it would be a nice change, I had looked at some 17's as well but wasn't sure how much they would fill out the arches as i won't be lowering the car.

Here's a link to the 17's I liked;

Both the gloss black and silver I liked.

Nothing like huge alloys, with tiny disks or drums behind them.

One of the neighbours has a mk1 focus, probably 1.6 zetec or something like that, with huge alloys, minute disks at the front, and drums at the back, looks terrible.

What alloys are on ther at moment? why not refurb them, as has been suggested.

18" on a 1.6 Focus? How stupid is that? Not only is the car going to look stupid, but you're going to lose the delicateness from the steering and handling, you won't have the power to take advantage of it and the tyres are going to cost a bomb to replace each year. And if you're really planning to go round corners at insane speeds, you won't have the suspension designed for it. Lose-Lose decision in every way.
