Story: My sister is ''getting to know'' 1 of my best mates from school, I hadnt seen him for years but met him randomly on a night out just before I flew out to a hot sandy place. She liks him and he likes her but apparently they are both bothered about how I feel about the situation.

I personally dont care 1 little bit, My sis has only ever had idiot boyfriends and this lad is a good guy. Them being together would not bother me in the slightest

but now

My sis has sent me this e-mail

Danny, would it be an issue if me and **** ever got together? I really like him and he likes me so i really hope it wouldnt effect your 2s friendship :/ he takes me out and treats me :) he a big geek haha. I know hed bring the best out in me and hope your ok with it? Xx

My issue: Even though I dont care I was wondering if I should wind her up about it :) or should I just be a good broter and say I dont mind?

Edit: Don't. Just let it happen, who knows that your meddling may cause it never to be, and you'll be at fault? It could cause issues between you and your sister, or you and your mate. If you're really fine with it, hand over your blessing and hope it brings them both joy.

This if I wasnt in a hot sandy place a few thousand miles away.
 
The done thing would be to "have a talk with him, make sure he doesn't hurt her, make sure he treats her right, and threaten to kneecap him if he does wrong by her".

Give her the talk instead :D
