So I've got the house, the TV and the gaming PC, so now I need a HTPC. I see no reason to set a huge budget because it won't need a massive hard drive, basically I need a HTPC just so I can plug my hard drive in and watch DVD/Blu Rays.

Requirements
Smallest case possible + PSU
Under 100GB hard drive/SSD preferred
No need for an i7 but a decent CPU that can handle HD videos
Internal Wireless card
No sound card requires
Graphics card with a HDMI port
Optional Bluray drive

Budget under £300 but, the cheaper, the better

Hi, not many boards will have built in WiFi which is why the below costs over £300:

YOUR BASKET
1 x Asus E45M1-I DELUXE (AMD Hudson M1) DDR3 Motherboard - mini ITX £139.99
1 x Crucial RealSSD M4 64GB 2.5" SATA 6Gb/s Solid State Hard Drive (CT064M4SSD2) £77.99
1 x Antec ISK110 MiniITX Vesa Mountable Case - Black/Silver £71.99
1 x Crucial Ballistix Sport 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C10 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (BL2KIT25664BA160A) £19.99
Total : £321.36 (includes shipping : £9.50).

Has the Wifi antenna ports on the back so you would have to find a couple to attach.

Apart from that the onboard AMD 6310 will handle blu-ray content just fine through the HDMI port, the case is tiny and comes with a 90W brick PSU.

SSD is one of the most reliable and fastest on the market.

Or if you are just looking to polug in a USB hdd and play off that then a media streamer maybe a better idea: link

Media Streamer would be ok I guess but I won't be streaming much as my internet is crappy, I'd just plug in my external hard drive and watch stuff off that

One of the Asus O!Play media players would suit you best then. The mini looks like it will allow you to plug in a USB HDD and away you go. OcUK don't have them in stock atm though. But £50 is better than £300 :D
