Spec me :)

Basically all i need is cpu,mobo,G card.
The rig will mainly be used for gaming/playing videos.
Im leaning towards AMD purely because of my £500 budget, but would like to spend less if possible.

As said above, the i5 is the best CPU for the money for gaming. I take it you have at least 4GB DDR3 RAM?

I guess your right, I've always used intel so I just fancied a change I guess,Then again ive always used intel for a reason

No need to go with an AMD system. The i5 is the one you should be getting.

I'll have to agree. Unless you are encoding or photo editing, AMD would be the better choice unless you can payout for the hex-core i7.

You said you have a budget of £500, the intel spec trigger gave you should cover that. Not sure about in-game, it could be comparable.

I see your point! Depends how much you actually want to spend! I'm and AMD gamer and cannot fault it!

If you have RAM you can take it out from the basket I posted.
