I need a little help here. My brother in law is about to buy a complete system from a "home shopping" website so he can pay for it monthly. The system spec is as follows and costs £679.
Intel® Core™ i5-3330 processor
8Gb RAM
2Tb SATA hard drive
21.5 inch TFT Monitor
Mouse and keyboard included
DVDRW Drive
Dedicated 4Gb GT630 Graphics
Microsoft Windows 8 Home Premium
Zoostorm Desktop PC
He is convinced it'll be good enough for gaming due to the "dedicated 4GB graphics", however from what I can see, the GT630 is limited to 1GB and isn't really a gaming card.
I'd like a spec that comes to £600 that beats the one above in terms of gaming performance, shouldn't be hard I imagine. Hard drive space can be reduced, he is adamant it must have 8GB of ram though for "future proofing". It must have everything included as it is his first PC, finally drawn him away from consoles.
I'm of course willing to build it for him. So OCUK, blast that POS pre built rubbish out of the water
