Hey there,

I'm looking to build a new PC, for a friend, his budget is around £550-600, preferably not higher.

He will mainly be using it for software development, and a fair amount of gaming.

Please help me put together a good complete system for him, excluding peripherals!

Does this include an OS?

And does he have any components from an existing PC he can reuse?

Yeah, have a copy of windows 7 so OS isn't a problem.

The only current component which he has is a Coolermaster 612S cooler, but don't necessarily need to use it!

Slightly over budget. Have used the OEM Cpu to save a few quid as he can use the 612S.

Could use the Z68AP-D3 as an alternative motehrboard to bring price down, still a cracking board!
