Ok so ive recently upgraded to VM 100mb package and so far its going great after coming from normal sky broadband. So im looking for a new wireless card for my pc to make use of the connection as I can not make it wired due to being upstairs. Also I am wondering what is the best option to get the best connection on my consoles. Thanks in advance.

I have heard good things about power line adaptors but am not sure which is the best choice so they might be worth having a look at. Also what speeds do you tend to get.

The issue with powerline adaptors is there is no way of knowing how they perform until they're installed.
At least with WiFi you've got a reasonable idea of the range as the OP has presumably had WiFi before..

For pc I went with the TP-LINK TL-WDN4800 N900 Wireless Dual Band PCI Express Adapter which I get 160mb when I did a speed test.
