The 'K' is important for Overclocking.

The RAM is your choice, though i never see a reason for going over 1600.

Has you cooler got the 1156 bracket? It should have. If it does 1155 will fit.

Oh I wasn't sure what the 'K' meant. I will be wanting to overclock it. Will make sure I get the K

I've no idea what RAM I just picked it almost at random, your selection looks fine.

The mobo a good clocker? I've always had gigabyte so thought id stick to what I know

I will have to dig the box out and see what other backing plates the heatsink has, unless it's the same plate with just using some of the other holes on it

The mobo has great reviews, though i don't have one myself I've heard good things. And you get a free mouse mat :)

I think that it should have a different bracket for 1156/1155. Have a look and have a look through any installation books too. If it does fit, that'd be a great cooler.
