Anyone spec me a full system for under £600, i need a core 2 duo, and a 19" monitor, any ideas???
Its for my brother-inlaw and has a max budget of £600, he mianly needs a pc for cad, so sound aint that major.

The budget is a bit tight but this ought to do I think, it has the 19" monitor and Conroe asked for. I can't fit 2gb Ram into the budget but given that there is only £600 to spend I can't imagine that the CAD work is all that hardcore.

cheers, that looks spot-on for what he needs it for! :D , gonna try and get him to spend a bit more, to get a better graphics card.

No worries but I do have to also say that surprisingly the graphics card isn't that bad at all, in fact I think it may be one of the ones that can be clocked up to 7600gt levels or near enough, maybe check in the graphics card forums. :)

only thing is that he might not like the look of the case, i like it, looks abit like my cheiftec dragon, but if he dont like it, would the Antec NSK4400 Mini Tower Case - 380W SmartPower PSU be powerful enough to run that system?

Yes the case should be fine, it would be my other choice as it isn't a hugely demanding PC but I figured for £2 extra or so that the 480w PSU might be worth it. Whichever one he prefers the look of will be ok, it's funny you mention it looks like a Chieftec Dragon(I've got one as well), I think they come from the same factory. :)
