Hi,

My uncle has asked me what sort of games he could buy for my aunt as she enjoys playing solitare on the PC.........

As a CSS, WOW and COH player i'm afraid i have no knowledge of the sort of games a woman approaching 60 with low PC skills would want / be able to play.

Any ideas? Game type or specific titles would be great.

Mahjong.
Chess.

How about some of the older point 'n' click adventures with puzzle solving? Broken Sword 1&2 spring to mind.

Bejewelled. Most women I've shown it to love it. Or CRYSIS PEWPEW! Aunt phsycho(I think I've spelt it wrong...) :D

Tinker, the extra feature on vista ultimate is quite a neat little game. There is a new point and click adventure game called A Vampyre Story which is supposed to be quite good. I have it installed but have yet to play it.

Gears of War 2, sry, couldn't resist that one.

How about Myst, the point and click adventures?
Or, seriously, just try her on F.E.A.R for an hour with lights off and earphones in. I think that is probably the best story - fps game I ever played. (You may just have to pay for her rehab though.:D)

My Nan likes Peggle, Peggle Nights, Bookworm Adventures, Ricochet: Lost Worlds, Bejeweled 2, anything in the Popcap style. I bought the Popcap pack on steam for $100 and she uses that in offline mode.
