Hello,

I have an old P4 3.4Ghz EE on a Abit MAX-3 board with an AGP graphics card so time for an upgrade. ;) I have an old Lian Li case that id like to keep using will the new mobos fit in it? Also could i still use my old psu or do i need a new one too?

So i need help with CPU/MOBO/RAM/GFX ideas.

Im not a massive gamer, but HD video editing and encoding is my main priority, im not an overclocker either.

Budget is around £700.

Any ideas would be great.

Thanks,
n0s

Whats the difference between the 250 and the 260, is it worth the extra cash?

Also, what ram do i want if i want to try and overclock from 2.66 to say 3.4?

I will actually be taking the parts abroad before i can test them, so i suppose buying a overclocked bundle would be my best bet as i would know that all the parts are working and not have to worry about returning anything from abroad.

Ok so im leaning towards these choices, what PSU would i need for all the below:

Intel Core i7 920 2.66Ghz (Nehalem) (Socket LGA1366)

Asus P6T Deluxe Intel X58 (Socket 1366) PCI-Express DDR3 Motherboard

OCZ Reaper 6GB (3 X 2GB) DDR3 PC3-15000 (1866MHz) Tri-Channel

XFX GTS 250 512MB GDDR3 TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express)

3 SATA Hardrives

2 DVD-RW Drives
