HI all,

I'm very busy at the moment fixing other people's computers and don't have time for speccing up a PC so I thought I'd hand it over to you guys, if you spec me it up I'll buy it with ocuk free shipping.

"Hi Joel,

Dad told me you asked to have the specs for my new computer emailed to you;

8GB RAM
Max memory (that you think is appropriate)
Good graphics
A good size and quality monitor
Preferrably Vista.

I'll be using it for photography, so it should have enough memory for big photos and programs like Master Collection CS3.
I'm guessing 8GB RAM is enough to ensure I can have programs like Photoshop, MSN and Runescape (IE) simultaniously and fluidly?

Thanks,
Nadia."

Please spec me up ;)

I've just re-read the email - no mention of budget. Let's keep it modest but not too cheap, iykwim!

Any budget at all? You could easily spend £2k on a system with those requirements! Also don't even bother with Vista, get Windows 7.

Just rang her dad, "cheap as possible" and yeah lets go with Win 7.... silly to be getting vista now especially when a superior OS is out!

Do it yourself ffs, you've wasted more time in this thread than it would take to look!

After all, you are the one getting paid for it :P

5-10 minutes doesn't really compare to 13-14 hour days of self employed PC repair work to be frank.

I've got enough going on at the moment and as people are happy to spec I didn't see why this was a problem.

Probably best to spec 3 builds, cheapest, middle and high end, with a few lines describing
each, this is your job and it would take about 20 minutres.

You should set 3 prospective budgets then people would be able to spec you, otherwise its hard to spec to no limit.
