my mum wants to buy my dad a mouse for christmas because she likes my diamondback because it lights up.

my dad will use it for ebay and that's it

so

1. it must light up
2. he is left handed so it must be symetrical
3. not mega expensive - I imagine up to £40 will be fine

thanks

I use right and left hand to use a mouse - not both at once - and increasingly left hand only due to injury in the wrist on the right.

I have just started using the Razer Lachesis and I love it. It might cost a wee bit more than you want to spend - but if you are looking for a good mouse for a left hander you can't be too choosy, as I have recently found out. I couldn't find any genuine shaped left hand mice, so symmetrical is the best you can hope for.

I was nearly put off the lachesis by a lot of rather negative sounding comments and reviews around the web, but I can't see what they were going on about after using one myself.
