the 7600GT is like a 6800GS. so i guess it should run it smoothly, but dont quote me on that

It depends if your friend is going to run cod2 with directx7 or 9. For DX7 it should be fine with fps of over 100, but if he wants to run it at DX9 then he might get fps of 50 or below on some maps such as Matmata with the dust on.

well coz i put in a SLI board in it, u can always down taht and some otehr bits to get a 7800GT as they are onli 176 now

no, hes not that good with PC's he just wants one for games and his personal use.

So no to OC'ing.
