Spec my OH a mobile

Had a look in shops and online but everything we seem to find lacks one of the below. So the requirements are:

- Android
- Decent high end camera
- 3.5mm jack
- Wireless charging
- Max 6.2" screen
- Budget up to £800, around £500 preferable

Unless I'm mistaken, those that I've looked at including the Pixels and S20s lack at least one of the above.

Any recommendations?

Only thing Xperia 5 II is missing is wireless charging

One of the various S10 models? Has all of those and can be had for cheap these days.

The Pixel 4a has all bar the wireless charging iirc. At £349 (no doubt to be found cheaper on black friday), the difference could pay for some decent wireless buds.

I was going to say that (bar wireless charging) you basically described the Pixel 4a 5g there.
Only you or your OH knows but I'd question how important the headphone jack is. Life with bluetooth/wireless really isn't that bad and as a last resort you could always get a dongle.
If the headphone jack is negotiable then the regular S20 would fit the bill.

Thing with the headphone jack is she's NHS and does night shifts so she sleeps with earphones in to both cut out music and listen to meditation type stuff. The wireless ones are obviously bulkier to sleep on and I guarantee she'll forget to charge them...

Shame that most models have dropped it. I use mine (Note 9) to plug into my vinyl amp as well.

I just leave the dongle on my headphones. I'd therefore say the headphone jack is the one it's probably easiest to compromise on.

S10 sounds like a perfect shout here and can be had for well under budget.

Either that or ditch the requirement for the headphone jack and your options are pretty much any flagship phone. The way things are going you're likely going to have to either get USB C headphone or use an adapter anyway.
