Please can you spec me a I7 920
2 Dual 500g Hdd's
6gb Ram
dual 1gb graphics cards (with Dual link DVI for 2560x1600)
Decent Dvd burner
Case + Psu
Cpu Cooler

Think should do it.
The guy is thinking of getting it from another shop and asks if he could upgrade it. the one he would get would only have 2gb Ram. this cant be upgraded unless got same type of ram right?

No, and its pointeless getting an i7 system with 2 gig of RAM, you want the RAM running in triple channel mode, which would mean either 3 gig or 6, plus vista would eat through 2 gig of RAM very rapidly, you need more
Whats the overall budget? I'd ask what the use is for but at top system spec its kinda irrelevant, but budget would be good

Thought ram was pointless. Thats the big companys for you lol. lets just say about 800 at most? not sure how much a full i7 rig costs but the other company starts at 550 with yeh i7 920 and 2gb ram.


Ok maybe little more than a 1000 then lol
