hi,
either today or tomorrow ill be ordering a new build. I'm intending to use this build for atleast a few years so hoping it will last.

I'll mainly be gaming and just want a fast, responsive system ( so agility 3 60gb ssd?)

I'm looking at the NZXT phantom, but i'll appreciate other (if cheaper) alternatives.

I have a budget of around £1000, i may be able to turn it to £1100

I cant be bothered waiting for bulldozer, so going to turn to sandybridge

the 2500K processors are quite expensive these days, could save at least £10 waiting a bit. The GD53 is not in stock either. But those would be my go-to guys. Worth shopping around if you can't wait.

some possible tweaks here and there, but in short.
- 8GB PC12800 ram.
- 650W+ PSU (single GPU), 750W - 850W needed for SLI / XFire.
- Custom cooled 6950 2GB (the TFIII is unlockable iirc).
- 2500K + P67, 8x8x SLI/XFire option.
- 60 GB OS / App drive.
- good case.
- 1TB + OS.
- 3rd party £30 cooler.
- Bluray.

Something around that should be possible for a grand.
 
As the OP is ordering today or tomorrow you should spec. them a motherboard which is in stock.

There's the MSI P67A-GD65 but it's £30 more.
