ive just sold my used 16gb kingston blu for £80 and i want to get red ones to go with my new built (project log thread), this i will definitely buy today and in that rig ill have a r9 270x powercolor devil edition however i plan on adding another in the future (few months from now) So i would like a PSU that would suit both, this is also an amd machine.

Also i have another question, is using 4 x4gb(16gb) slots of ram worser for overclocking than for instance 2x4gb (8gb) or 2x8gb (16gb)?

So preferably a spec for the following:

Ram: - Red - Led lights would be a bonus - 8gb to 16gb dont mind (as i think 8 is enough)

PSU: Semi Modular would be nice, i think 650w should handle 2x r9 270x, and Red Cables would made the built even better

Need a quick spec so i can get it tomorow, budget for PSU around £80 and about the same for the RAM

This is what ive shortlisted so far:

YOUR BASKET
1 x Avexir Core Red Series 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-17200C9 2133MHz Dual Channel Memory Kit (AVD3U21330904G-2CIR) - Red Light £79.99
1 x Avexir Core White Series 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Memory Kit (AVD3U16000904G-2CIW) - White Light £71.99
1 x TeamGroup Vulcan RED 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-17100C11 2133MHz Dual Channel Kit (TLD38G2133HC11ADC01) £69.95
1 x TeamGroup Vulcan RED 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (TLD38G1600HC9DC01) £59.99
2 x Patriot Viper 3 "Venom Red" 4GB DDR3 PC3-14900C9 1866MHz Single Module (P34G189UR) £34.99 (£69.98)
Total : £351.90 (includes shipping : FREE).

Im leaning towards the avexir core white as it will sit nicely next to the h100 white led too

In terms of overclocking the CPU i take it a 1600mhz is a better than the 2133mhz because ive read online that sometimes you need to underclock your ram? and ive seen too many youtube videos saying there is hardly a noticeable difference between the 1600mhz and 2133mhz.

Couple of options here.

YOUR BASKET
1 x Seasonic G series 650w '80 Plus Gold' Modular Power Supply £99.95
1 x Corsair CS650M 650W Semi-Modular 80+ GOLD Certified Power Supply (CP-9020077-UK) £79.99
Total : £189.54 (includes shipping : £8.00).

Out of the two i'd go for the Seasonic (in fact, I have the 550W version sitting my room awaiting for Kaveri to turn up) but the Superflower idleman suggested is a forum favourite make right now, if you are willing to forego the modular features of the above two.

I was leaning towards that PSU (superflower) too will def. keep it mind when i order.

As for the ram i was about to order: Avexir Core White Series 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Memory Kit (AVD3U16000904G-2CIW) - White Light

Because i think it would fit nicely next to the H100, however that vulcan for £10 less is also tempting, how do these 2 differ? which is better and etc?

Just aesthetics between them really, both have the same timing and speeds, so won't be any performance difference, I do like the lights on the RAM myself!

& tomorrow I would say is impossible (unless you choose Royal Mail special delivery next day?), Christmas period and all.

When i click checkout, i can select the 24th, dpd next day delivery for free cause of 250 posts.

im going to get the white led ones, i think that would suit better next to H100 and ill most likely order the sunflower one when ill get the 2nd r9 270x, which comes with a blue led light correct but im guessing ill face it down and wont see the blue light in the case as ill have a hue led controller in the case
